In the twenty-first century the bicycle been reborn with sleek lightweight racing frames and flexible suspensions as the greenest, speediest, most fun way to get around town, Cycle fashion has also evolved, and urban trendsetters wearing bright, light weatherproof apparel, with a messenger bag and one jeans leg rolled up as they zip around town on their fixed gear racing bikes are becoming a common sight. Live music includes audio visual unit 3-1 (Holland), and top DJs playing house and all-mix.

Salonista fashion shows are held at music events targeted at various core audiences of trend leader consumers, media and fashion industry. Collections of street, music-related and active sport fashion brands are based around different sub-culture themes and are each held once or twice per year.

Recent Salonista themes include motorbike, cycling, rock, dance music, tennis, snowboarding, surf and urban fashion. Future events for skate, football, men’s street and women’s street collections are planned.
