BiZ NITES 2008



BiZ NITES include different creative communities' presentations and discussions simultaniously in several rooms, with everybody mixing and making new contacts around the spacious bar area. Dozens of participating communities include Ad Nite, Photo Nite, Wellness Nite, Music Biz Nite. Movie Biz Nite, Broadcast Nite, Eco Nite, NPO Nite, Net Nite. As the event grows during 2008 we expect over 300 creative people to attend per night, and each evening culminates in a party including live music, DJs and other creative performances.

BiZ NITES are held monthly throughout 2008 on the following Third Mondays (*Second if holiday) 18:00-23:00 at Daikanyama Tableaux. Entrance is 1000yen adv / 1500yen door. 7/14*, 8/18, 9/8*, 10/20, 11/17, 12/15

Please join us at BiZ NITE – Tokyo’s fastest growing networking event for creative business people - on Monday 18 August at Daikanyama Tableaux (TABLEAUX), 18:00-23:30, with a ‘Brazilian Flavor’. In addition to our regular content, BiZ NITE will host presentations about contemporary Brazilian music and culture, and about Brazilian creative business people's activities in Japan. We expect about 200 people to attend community presentations and get-togethers in three spaces for people working in an A-Z of creative communities, including ad, art, DJ, design, eco, fashion, movie, music, net, sport, success, VJ, wellness industries.

Music Biz Nite on Tuesday 5 August at Roppongi 57 will explore changes and opportunities in the fast-evolving music business. It is a sister event of BiZ NITES – a series of monthly bilingual networking events for all types of creative business people in Tokyo.

We expect approximately 300 attendees from all areas of the music business, with separate presentation/ networking spaces allocated for each area during 18:00-22:30, followed by DJs until late. Presenters from all sectors will provide a 360°view of the Japanese music business.

In collaboration with the British Embassy, BPI and UKTI, this event will feature a corner for UK organizations in addition to booths, displays and presentations from music-related organizations in Japan.

Door price is 1500 yen. Delicious food and drinks are available from cash bar. If your profile is listed on a Biz Nite site, you will be able to enter the event for 1000 yen. Photo Nite invites 100 photographers to show their images of "Japan youth culture - people and places" at Roppongi 57 on Monday 9 June 2008. (18:00-23:00, 1000 yen advance, 1500 yen door)

Japan has some of the world's most interesting youth culture, and we're collecting photographers' photos and ideas about its original music, fashion, art and street scenes and how they photograph them.

Each photographer will show one large signed print, which will be voted for by the audience and auctioned to raise money for ISEP's green energy charity. Some of the photographers, (including Herbie Yamaguchi, Mark Oxley and dozens more) will also give talks with slideshows of their other images in presentation spaces at the venue. The event will also include some DJs, booths, displays and presentations from organizations supporting photographers in Japan. (More information: photobiz.ning.com )
